Ric Ocasek - “Prove” (1982)

Happy birthday, you strange and delightful creature. (03/23/1949)

missmelaniebee:

I forgot how fey Ric Ocasek could sound sometimes. When he sings full-out, his voice gets this whooping, quavery quality that’s utterly compelling and strange.

OOHWHEN YOU HOLD MEEEEEE~

I JUST MELTAWAY~

Love grooving to “Beatitude” when I’m drunk (but when I’m not, it’s still a pretty good album).

Wanna share with you one of my favorite “Halloween” songs, a relatively obscure 80’s hit from one and a quarter-hit wonder Toto Coelo, “Dracula’s Tango.”

It’s a fun, catchy, and “spooky” little tune, so give it a shot. Happy Halloween, gang!

I’m grooving to this right now and I’m not even sorry.

Toto Coelo was awesome.
